Intellectual Property Right
Intellectual property rights holders can apply for filing with the General Administration of Customs of China. If the rights holder or customs discovers goods suspected of infringement, the customs can immediately detain the suspected goods and verify with the rights holder for further legal protection, effectively cracking down on infringing goods and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the rights holder.

Intellectual property rights holders refer to legal or natural persons who have registered copyrights, trademarks, or patents in China

Legal representative application: copy of business license or valid commercial registration certificate
Natural person application: personal identification documents

term of validity
The customs protection filing of intellectual property shall take effect from the date of approval by the General Administration of Customs, and shall be valid for 10 years. If the intellectual property rights are valid, the intellectual property rights holder may apply to the General Administration of Customs for renewal of the intellectual property protection record within 6 months before the expiration of the validity period of the intellectual property customs protection record. The validity period for each renewal filing is 10 years.
