New Capital Investor Entry Plan Regulations

Applicants for the New Capital Investor Immigration Scheme are required to hire a certified public accountant as defined in the Accounting and Financial Reporting Authority Ordinance (Chapter 588 of the Laws of Hong Kong) at their own expense to assist in proving that the applicant meets the requirements for net assets, investment, and investment management. Rengang Yongsheng is a qualified accounting firm that can issue relevant regulatory documents and provide appropriate advice to applicants.

Regulations and required information

Information required for the type of assets of the applicant during the review stage and regulatory requirements

Net asset review

Prove that the applicant has absolutely beneficial net assets of HKD 30 million within the two years prior to the application

Bank deposits (i.e. savings and term deposits)

Bank account monthly statement/bank passbook

Proof letter issued by the bank

Deposit certificates issued by banks

Securities, bonds, and funds

Securities account monthly statement

Certification letter issued by securities company

The contract signed between the applicant and the securities company when opening an account

A notarized certificate issued by the notary office to verify the authenticity of the seal of the securities company on the monthly statement/proof letter

Assessment report issued by an appraiser accepted by a Hong Kong certified public accountant (if assets are not traded on a public exchange)

Land registration records indicating ownership of real estate

Real Estate Ownership Certificate (Urban Property)

State owned land use certificate (rural land)

Mortgage deed (if any)

Assessment report issued by appraisers accepted by Hong Kong practicing accountants

Company shares

Annual declaration form submitted to the company registration office/official agency issuing proof of ownership of the applicant's company

Corporate Business License

Capital verification report (if any)

The latest company information printed by the Administration for Industry and Commerce

Stocks, certificates of authority, company registration certificates, and articles of association or articles of association

auditor’s report

Assessment report issued by an appraiser accepted by a Hong Kong certified public accountant (if assets are not traded on a public exchange)

Documents that can prove the market value of assets and the applicant's absolute beneficial ownership of assets

Review of investment regulations

Prove that the applicant has invested at least HKD 30 million net worth in the approved investment assets within 180 days

Review of Investment Management Regulations

Prove that the applicant has continued to comply with investment management regulations after the first anniversary of participating in the program and on each subsequent anniversary

Stocks, debt securities, subordinated debts, and qualified collective investment plans

Transaction documents/receipts/statements issued by financial institutions indicating the applicant's investment amount

Proof letter issued by financial institutions

Certificate of Deposit

Deposit certificates issued by banks

Proof letter issued by the bank

Ownership interests of limited partnership funds

Non residential real estate

Annual declaration form submitted to the company registration office/official agency issuing proof of ownership of the applicant's company (if the real estate is owned by a company in which the applicant serves as the sole shareholder)

Capital investor entry plan investment portfolio

Documents that can prove the applicant's investment amount (such as the applicant investing HKD 3 million into the investment portfolio of the Capital Investor Entry Plan)

Bank account monthly statement/bank passbook (if the applicant has deposited HKD 3 million in cash into a designated account opened by a financial intermediary appointed by him/her for future investment in the investor's entry plan investment portfolio)
